Had a lovely time. Great service from the new manager. Lovely and tidy.
On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady ( Kelly ? ) We were staying overnight so we checked in and were directed to our rooms. The rooms were more than adequate, and clean. We had lunch which was delicious well presented and very good portions. We found the rooms nice and quiet and slept well. The shower was brilliant. We had book breakfast which was once again delicious. Overall we had a lovely experience, wonderful staff. Will definitely be staying again.
New management has taken over the hotel and bar, and they are doing a great job! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was spacious, with good water pressure. Overall, great value for the price. The manager really looked after us, and the bar was good value too. Would recommend for anyone looking for affordable, comfortable accommodation, with helpful management!
Called in for a drink tonight and had a thoroughly good time. The bar was beautifully warm despite it being a freezing cold night, the drinks were good and Cameron was friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to visiting here more often.
We stayed here for a night this week, the owner was so helpful and accommodating. We were made to feel so welcome. We were upgraded to an executive room, which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean. The bathroom was lovely with a large shower and toiletries. It’s clear that the owner is doing a great job of refurbishing the pub and accommodation and we will visit again.
Great place redone the rooms are amazing and the food at the restaurant was supper good. I would recommend anyone any day. The new owner is so friendly and welcoming..,great customer service. Definitely coming for a drink soon
Such a lovey run place, room was clean and comfortable. Only downfall was there wasn’t a tv in the room as it had not been sorted out yet. Staff were friendly and polite, and always happy to help. We will definitely stay again and recommend this place. I cannot comment on the food as we didn’t eat anything here.
Good food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. We always enjoy our visits to the local. Well worth a visit to sample the home made cheesecake excellent 3 course Christmas meal tonight with friends. October 2022 .... First time we've eaten here since it changed hands 8 months ago. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. Portions size are small (we ordered from the specials board). Service was quick and friendly. We enjoyed it and will certainly go back.
